What is this Indicator?
This indicator shows the percentage of children who had a dental visit within the past 12 months.
Why this is important: 
Oral health has been shown to impact overall health and well-being. In children, this can have serious consequences on development and ability to learn. Tooth decay is the most common chronic, infectious disease in American children.
Technical Note:  The distribution is based on data from 44 California counties and county groups.
