| Description |
The Lark-Inn is an emergency shelter for runaway adolescents and young adults aged 18-24. The shelter has 40 beds, kitchen and laundry facilities, a computer lab and a kennel for pets.
The Lark-Inn is a temporary housing solution for adolescents transitioning into adulthood who do not have a stable or safe place to live. Residents of the Lark-Inn are able to access all of Larkin Street’s youth services including health care, counseling, employment services and job training. Each resident makes an individualized goal plan when they arrive at the Lark-Inn and are supported in working towards achieving their goals during their stay. Positive reinforcement is given when progress is made towards each goal.

| Results / Accomplishments |
In 2009, the Lark-Inn provided 12,465 nights off the street to 354 youth aged 18-24. The program provided 8,584 counseling sessions and 83% of youth who entered the shelter accessed employment services.
