High School Graduates Prepared for College

Measurement Period: 2021-2022
This indicator measures the percentage of 12th grade graduates in California public schools completing all courses required for University of California and/or California State University admission.

Why is this important?

Attainment of a higher level of education is associated with higher income, better working conditions, and more opportunities for promotion. High school students who have taken the necessary courses required for college admission are more likely to be admitted and continue their education.
